Chris Lake

House

Chris Lake is, hands down, the artist I am most excited to see at Suwannee Hulaween. After witnessing him right before the pandemic, and then preparing to see him at Firefly until he cancelled last minute, this is the moment I personally have been waiting on for far too long.

Chris Lake is a house music mogul hailing from the UK but touring internationally, hitting many US festivals like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. He is most known for his remixes such as of Calvin Harris’ “How Deep is Your Love,” as well as original songs like “Turn off the Lights” and “Deceiver.” Aside from his singles, Chris Lake throws together sensational house sets like no other. You will undoubtedly need a solid ten minutes to recover after grooving to his set.

Zeds Dead (Deadbeats Takeover)

Brostep / Drum n Bass / Tech House

Industry-leading electronic duo Zeds Dead is another highly anticipated act taking the stage at Hulaween this year. The Toronto-based tacticians have been performing for over a decade, while simultaneously gathering hundreds of millions of streams and dozens of top Billboard hits.

In 2016, Zeds Dead launched Deadbeats Records, which is now a leading dance label. In just five years, the independent label has released over 150 projects from emerging artists. Some of these artists include DNMO, PEEKABOO, Subtronics, and more. In the past, Deadbeats artists collaborated with Rezz, Jauz, Slushii, and more.

Zeds Dead’s set won’t be typical. Expect a so-called “Deadbeats Takeover,” where a multitude of signed artists could hypothetical appear…

Bonobo (DJ Set)

Trip-Hop

A true dance music veteran who has released music for over two decades, Bonobo is a must-see at Suwannee Hulaween. This DJ practically has the industry under his belt as it is. Between Grammy nominations, global touring, hit songs, famous live sets, and more, Bonobo has an undeniably successful sound.

While he is known for performing with a live band/instrumentation, Bonobo will perform a DJ set at Hulaween. Nonetheless, his performance is certain to get your body moving. Check out his Boiler Room set below to get a feel for what you could possibly expect this Halloweekend.

LSDREAM

Brostep / Space Bass

LSDREAM represents the future of bass music. Popping into the dance music scene only a few years ago, the young artist quickly rose to fame. Over the past three years, the internationally touring DJ has released three full length albums and many singles. In less than two weeks, his latest album PEACE LOVE & WUBZ amassed millions of streams and appeared on our EDM Fresh Drops playlist repeatedly.

LSDREAM is consistently seen on many festival lineups this year. So while it wasn’t a surprise to see him on the bill, it was certainly a delight. Prepare for some “HIGH VIBRATIONS,” “SPACE FUNK,” and of course, wubs, or in this case, “UNIVERSAL WUBS.”

Claude VonStroke

House

Claude VonStroke is another veteran DJ/producer that Hulaween booked for Halloween weekend. The Ohio-born artist has been creating music for about two decades now. Alongside his music career, he also built a small underground label called Dirtybird. Since 2005, and now located between LA and San Fran, VonStroke has expanded his brand and music career amongst various projects, shows, events, merchandise, and more.

Claude VonStroke is best known for several of his iconic house tracks and, of course, his dozens of iconic festival sets, which you can find all across SoundCloud and YouTube. Make sure you have all of your belongings secured as you will most certainly get lost in the synthesized riffs and deep basslines.

Lane 8

Progressive / Deep House

Born in San Francisco but now residing in Denver, Colorado, Lane 8 will travel across the country to Suwannee Hulaween. The Anjunadeep-signed DJ is known for his progressive/deep house style music. Another vetted DJ who has made music for over a decade, Lane 8 is more proof that Hulaween has booked some of the true bests in electronic.

Though the Hulaween schedule isn’t out yet, we are definitely hoping to see Lane 8’s set placed around sunset.
