SiriusXM is essentially the next best thing to internet radio and streaming. With hundreds of stations accessible in vehicles, via satellite, online, and mobile, SiriusXM has found themselves a comfortable position as an influential leader in the music industry. So it only makes sense that they partner with other industry moguls to expand their platform. This time, SiriusXM is teaming up with SoundCloud to launch a new station: SoundCloud Radio.
SoundCloud Radio on SiriusXM Will Feature Solid Hip-Hop Talent
SoundCloud Radio is a September exclusive station on SiriusXM featuring hip-hop hits from artists who appear on the streaming platform. This ranges from classic hits and artists that paved the way on SoundCloud, as well as to new music and emerging names.
SoundCloud is no doubt one of the most influential platforms when it comes to hip-hop. In Florida alone, we have seen XXXTentacion, Kodak Black, Ski Mask the Slump God, and more rise to huge levels of fame through getting their start on SoundCloud.
It’s likely we could expect tracks from those guys, but SiriusXM let us know in a press release that we can definitely expect music from other SoundCloud pioneers like Megan Thee Stallion, Trippie Redd, Doja Cat, NLE Choppa, and CJ. Listeners will also be able to catch music from emerging artists like Rico Nasty, Lil Tecca, Roddy Ricch, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Don Toliver, Lil Tjay, Rod Wave, Denzel Curry, and more.

SoundCloud Radio is Now Available on SiriusXM
SoundCloud Radio is available today, September 1st, online and on the SXM app until the end of the month. Alternatively, it will only be available in vehicles from September 8-17. You’ll find it on channel 105. Wherever you choose to listen, it will be available 24/7 during those time frames.
This news comes shortly after SiriusXM announced another new and somewhat similar station, TikTok Radio. While SoundCloud may have been one of the main movers of music culture in the beginning of the streaming era, TikTok seems to have snatched that status with their strong influence on modern music and pop culture worldwide. TikTok Radio being permanent while SoundCloud Radio is only temporary on SiriusXM practically confirms this. Though, we are certainly excited about both.
