Pooh Sheisty, real name Lontrell Williams, unfortunately can’t seem to stay out of trouble. After his arrest three weeks ago, the Memphis, Tennessee native and Atlantic Records / Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records signee has found himself with even more charges added on from an incident back in October 2020.
Pooh Sheisty is no stranger to law enforcement, with charges dating back to age 11. After his music career took off, he was staying out of trouble for the most part. Until October 2020 when he was involved with a shooting and robbery, then in June 2021 being charged and arrested for a different shooting, and now being charged and sentenced for the October incident.
Pooh Sheisty’s string of trouble during the pandemic started when he was involved with a daytime shooting in Bay Harbor Island, Miami on October 9th, 2020. Though the story isn’t fully clear, Sheisty was arrested and released on a $30,000 bond.
As of Tuesday June 25th, Pooh Sheisty has been charged in relation to the October incident. He has been charged with Conspiracy to Possess Firearms in Furtherance of Violent Crime, Hobbs Act Robbery Conspiracy with a maximum of 20 years and Discharging a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence with a maximum life sentence.
The authorities took it to Instagram to find probable evidence, using three images
According to legal documents, him and two others have been accused of participating in a robbery that ended with two shot. Though there was clear video surveillance, it was hard to make out those involved. The authorities took it to Instagram to find probable evidence.
They used multiple Instagram pictures as evidence to charge the three. This includes pictures on Sheisty’s account of several long rifles and $100 dollar bills that match those from the incident, as well as tagged images of him posing with a green McLaren. An associate or accomplice posted an image that was a picture of a Draco which looks similar to the one used by Pooh Sheisty.
All of the charges come after Pooh Sheisty has already been in jail since June 8th, 2021 regarding a different shooting. Pooh Sheisty shot a security guard at a Miami gentlemen’s club that he was performing at on May 30th. He was arrested on aggravated battery charges and has been denied bond. These new charges are adding much longer to his sentence. In light of events, Pooh Sheisty’s Instagram biography features his jail mailing address.
