McDonald’s has more to push poison down your throat with the help of celebrities. We warned you there would be more. Following the successful collaboration with superstar Travis Scott and the special Travis Scott Meal (The Cactus Jack), McDonald’s is creating another celebrity-endorsed meal. The fast-food conglomerate tapped Latin superstar J Balvin to follow up.
The meal will come with the Reggaeton artist’s favorites including a Big Mac sandwich, medium fries with ketchup, and an OREO® McFlurry. The “El J Balvin Meal” does not have a set price, unlike the meal from Travis Scott, prices will vary by location. Perhaps, they learned a lesson or two from the outrageous demand.

The meal launched at participating restaurants on October 5th and will be available until November 1st. Customers who purchase the meal as an offer on the McDonald’s App will receive the OREO® McFlurry for free. McDonald’s employees get to join in on the fun, too. As part of the collab, they will get custom shirts designed by J Balvin.
“As a longtime McDonald’s fan, I am excited to join the shortlist of global icons who have had a meal named in their honor,” Balvin said in a press release. “I am looking forward to sharing my signature order with my fans, along with more surprises that are to come with this partnership. ¡Lego!”
“El J Balvin Meal” began as soon as Scott’s limited-time deal ended yesterday. The Cactus Jack Meal was so popular that some restaurants ran out of the ingredients needed to make it. We doubt the demand will be as high, but stranger things have occurred.
