Northern California has a history embedded in cannabis use and cultivation. The Emerald Triangle produces some of the state’s, and country’s, finest cannabis and has continued to do so since the days of the black market. Founded and produced by Tim and Taylor Blake, The Emerald Cup sets the standard for cannabis events. This event combines a love of music and cannabis into a two-day festival and awards ceremony.
The combination of music festival and cannabis awards show seems to be a trending style. Emerald Cup’s main focus is to advance the support of sustainable outdoor cannabis cultivation. They also focus on connecting cannabis experts to farmers and patients throughout the duration of the festival. Attendees will also be able to purchase cannabis within California’s legal limits for recreational and doctors limits for medical. They will also have the opportunity to listen to speakers, music, and comedy acts.
Thinking about attending the festival? Jay and Silent Bob will be performing on Saturday. Attendees will also be able to see glass artists and speakers. Doug Benson and Ngaio Bealum, who co-hosts Cooking on High on Netflix, will be hosting the event. The musical line up is also filled with cannabis friendly artists from Protoje to Big Gigantic.
