Mochilato is a new cannabis creation spawning from the Mochi and Gelato strains. GasHouse produces recreational cannabis in the California market. The Mochilato strain was created by breeding together Gelato and Mochi to create a genetic family all inspired by creamy frozen delights.
The Mochilato strain was packaged in a glass jar with a childproof lid. The graphics wrapping around the jar could have more time spent on them. Their basic photoshopped graphics feature ice cream on the strain name with a loud-red outline and the information is cluttered and hard to read. The graphic design doesn’t look good or feel well thought out and it doesn’t do the weed inside justice.
You may know GasHouse from their legendary Pluto strain, the brand and company co-founder Kingston pride themselves in producing connoisseur-level cannabis products and I believe they’ve succeeded; their Mochilato cut is a marvelous expression of cannabis flower. Small dense nugs with deep purple colors and creamy-berry-gas aromas. The flowers sparkle with a moderate amount of trichome coverage. The smell is truly wonderful and the flavor matches it note for note.
This ice cream inspired flower hits like a smooth indica. The effects were slow to take hold, but when they did a relaxing body high enveloped me. As the high marched on It relaxed my muscles, alleviating some my lower back pain. Other than the packaging, Gas House’s Mochilato provided a memorable cannabis experience.
