Do you love cannabis? Have a passion for fitness? Live in the Seattle area? Ellementa is having an event Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Held at Heylo Extracts in Seattle, WA this is your chance to talk about using cannabis in marathon training, best topicals for post work out pain management or even cannabis yoga events. Anyone who is interested in incorporating cannabis into their exercise routines to join the conversation. You can order tickets to the event here.
Ellementa Empowering Women
Because Ellementa meets monthly to bring women together to be educated further about cannabis for health, wellness, self-care, and caregiving. This is an educational non-consumption event for Women/female-identified only. They are attempting to create a welcoming space for women can speak openly about cannabis wellness.
Host & Expert Guest Speakers
The event will be hosted by Ellementa Seattle Event Organizer Kait Heacock, she builds a community around literature, women, and of course cannabis. She is also the Pacific Northwest editor for Joyland Magazine.
Expert speakers include Jenna Bartell, who is a “cannapreneur” and a mother of two young daughters. Before starting her own paraphernalia company, she worked in professional coaching and empowering females through self-awareness. Jenna micro doses throughout the day for balance with work and family. She is also very known for the various exercise activities she does to keep that balance.
Diana Eberlein is a marketing and PR specialist with a background and expertise in entertainment marketing. She loves to try new things from new workouts to a new beauty regiment or seasonal cocktail. Her curiosity is what led her to cannabis when she relocated from LA to Seattle. Since then she dove right into utilizing cannabis products for health, wellness, and fitness. She is an official Forbes Member and has been using her entertainment marketing agency STILETTO Management to target the cannabis industry to create partnerships that inform, entertain and engage.
Why You Should Attend
This event is huge for the cannabis industry! Because it aims to break down the stereotype that stoners are lazy, overweight, and unmotivated. When so many of us are quite the opposite of this image that is portrayed in our community.
Not to mention, Women, is Michael Phelps really going to be the face of all cannabis athletes? Please say No. This event normalizes cannabis in the fitness community, while simultaneously educating both the fitness community and the cannabis community about how to combine exercise and cannabis in the most effective and efficient ways.
