Coming out the gate swinging with positive prose, bouncy drums, and driving hooks, Seattle’s own Keasha Beard has recently released her first full-length project into the world titled, Soul Food. With witty delivery and an optimistic tone and relatable content in each song, Keasha is bound to make waves on the West Coast. Coming from a past of addiction and hard times, Keasha is striving to endorse love and push peace through her music. Through vulnerable truths and transparent stories put over some fat drums and melodic samples and singable hooks, Keasha Beard seeks to impact the whole world with her good energy and powerful potential.
Rainier Beach native and Central Washington University alumni (Marketing Comm,) Keasha Beard, has been making serious moves since coming back to Seattle. In addition to putting together her album, Soul Food, which dropped on all major streaming platforms on January 12th. Keasha also founded Favored and Fearless back in mid-March, an entertainment company focusing primarily on music, but plans on expanding into other forms of media like the performing arts, theatre, film, and books.
Keasha’s work is currently being aired on local FM and online radio stations, but seems to be loading up her plate to take on a big endeavor in coming months to get her uplifting, raspy lyricism heard by all. Those looking to find a positive tip (for once) on some verily wavy booms and baps that Seattle is known for.
