ANKO, the musical creation of Nicolas de Ferran and Antoine F. Martin, was first inspired when the pair began working together a few years ago, writing and producing music for primetime TV in France. The two quickly decided to branch off and create their own music project.
This downtempo, trip-hop EP is full of smoothe transitions and relaxing Spring vibes that carry you easily through the entire collection.
This group produced, mixed, and mastered this EP in their own recording studio, Krispy Records Studio. The EP features many talented musicians from across Paris, with incorporations of piano, strings quartet, trumpet, french horn, clarinet, styled together with electronic production.
ANKO draw influences from hip-hop, jazz, and classical music, and draws similarities to Bonobo, The Cinematic Orchestra, Blockhead, Nujabes, DJ Krush, and Zero 7.
