The French producer Ork¿d first popped up on Circus Records radar after his remix of Flux Pavilion’s “Cut Me Out,” last year. One year in the making, his first EP, “This Is Not Club Music” is finally being released.
The EP contains his three previously released Circus tracks, as well as three new recordings; “Some Kind of Plains,” “Stop Your Lying,” and the title track “This Is Not Club Music.” Check out this funky preview for his EP below

When asked about his EP, Ork¿d said simply that he left nothing back in terms of emotion or self representation. He describes the genre of his music fittingly as “Intergalactic Robot Orchestra.” This title would seem to tie in well with his taste for late 20th century science fiction, which, as a Sci-Fi fan, I can totally get down with.
Ork¿d’s EP is a sonic audio six track adventure, with each track adding on its own spin to the overall theme of the record. To be honest, it’s a little hard for me to even describe this piece of work. It’s a little bit chill, a little, future, and a whole lot of Intergalactic Robot Orchestra. You will just have to listen to Ork¿d for yourself. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
