Washington DC is in for a treat this summer. Broccoli city festival is back with a star-studded lineup and being held at a new venue. The festival will take place July 27th-28th at Audi Field, home of D.C. United.
Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, PartyNextDoor, Key Glock, Victoria Monét, and more will hit the stage. “We’re thrilled to unveil this year’s lineup and the move to Audi Field, which reflects our festival’s eclectic tastes and vibrant spirit,” said by Brandon McEachern, co-founder of Broccoli City Fest. Broccoli City Festival ties date back over a decade.
Setting The Foundation
Broccoli City Fest has been around since 2013. The co-founders consist of Brandon McEachern, Marcus Allen, Darryl Perkins, and Jermon Williams. Over the years, the festival has included performances from Solange, 21 Savage, Burna Boy, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, and more. The annual festival is held in the Washington, D.C. to promote awareness for the environment, and health in African Americans. This year’s festival will be an experience far different from previous years.
With this year’s installment being at a soccer stadium, Broccoli City Co-Founder Marcus Allen is ecstatic for on goers to indulge in the growth Broccoli City Festival will present. “We’re setting a new standard, providing attendees an immersive blend of entertainment, technology, and fan engagement.” said Marcus Allen. The festival will also feature live experiences.
