It’s Edibles season! Two of my favorite emcees out of the Seattle area are back. Tre Ross and Bryce Bowden link up on the newly released “Loose” music video.
While both rappers have built respectable solo careers around the town, Bowden and Ross have always held a Ghostface Killah and Raekwon-type duo vibe. “Loose” see’s them in familiar turf rapping over a boom-bap laced soul sample that gives both artists plenty of room to get off some rhymes and flex their individual styles. Tre had me cutting up on his verse’s intro but I also felt that, RIP Jesus!
The video is pretty fly, the artists are seen rapping in front and inside of a corner store. Keeping the edibles vibe alive, they even hop behind the counter and work the grill while cheffing up some bars. Plenty of personality can be found throughout the visual. “Loose” is the perfect sound for any PNW music fans that also grace golden era hip-hop or looking for something similar to what Griselda is putting out these days. This definitely is my personal cup of tea.
While Edibles 2 is on the way, fans can enjoy the new single “Loose” below and keep the original Edibles drop in rotation.
