Lewie is back in his bag with the release of his latest music video, “Family Tree.” The Tacoma native has been doing his thing over the past few years, steadily leveling up as the next exciting name in hip-hop to come out of the PNW. But, Lewie’s goals are bigger than this. Looking to become more than just a legend locally, he wants to be up in the clouds with the likes of Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and Drake.
He doesn’t just want it for himself, though. Lewie is doing it for his family, his friends, his city – everyone in his “Family Tree” that’s been with him since he was wilding as a teen. The time is now for Lewie and MKF, not hearing the hate and not leaving anyone behind along the way.

The beat starts with a chill guitar-riff that leads you into the meat of the track, boasting a smooth 808 kick and rapping snares. Lewie rides this beat like a wave, with a confident swag that’s apparent but not over the top. Lewie has facts to speak, but he doesn’t necessarily “care” if you listen. But he cares about those who do.
Always speaking his mind, “Family Tree” is another page in the book of Lewie. This track is a bird’s-eye view of where he’s been and where he plans to take his music. Or better yet, where his music will take him.
The video, directed by @bagtalkrell, is simple but clean. It’s minimal but tells the story as needed, with flashbacks to Lewie performing in his younger years to being grown with a child now. We love to see another name from the PNW consistently killing it and setting a blueprint for artists that were once in his position. It’s all in the “Family Tree.”
