6LACK Drops Visual For His Single “Switch”

Over the past few years, 6LACK has seen his career rise rapidly and he intends to keep the momentum going with his song “Switch” – where he’s dropped the visual to support the single. He’s seen his career explode in the past few years due to the success of multiple single, projects, and collaborations.

The overall feel and vibe of “Switch” is both dark and honest. He’s highly aware of his surroundings and position in the game, but at the same time conveys his ongoing struggles with the advancement of his career. Around this theme, 6LACK addresses many topics throughout the song that include relationships, fans, his insight on the current industry, and more.

With lyrics such as “Ain’t nobody gotta go through what I’m going through, no / But it seems like they all know what I’m supposed to do so,” accurately displays the mental state he’s in.

The video itself only amplifies this message with the story based around 6LACK ending up in a motorcycle accident and as a result of being in an unconscious state, or possibly dead. The video almost feels like his self-inflicted funeral, as clips are shown of him performing while intertwined with neon colorations of the actual motorcycle accident.
