Wyclef Jean at Showbox Market was a grade-A performance. Jean came through Seattle last Saturday and shut things down in the process. The talented individual played his most popular songs throughout the night and showed the fans his true skills. From playing the piano to playing the guitar with his mouth and behind his back, to twisting knobs behind the DJ table, he was able to prove pretty easily his effortless artistic talent.
Prior to the show, I was personally concerned about how much music from the Fugees we would hear. Being that it was some of his best work, it would be too bad if we didn’t get to hear any of it. By the end of the night, we had heard plenty of music from his time with the Fugees, we saw him stage dive into the crowd and even pour water all over himself while getting hyped for one of his verses. His upbeat energy was contagious and for everyone that attended, it was a night well spent; especially with one of the best creatives that the music industry has to offer.
