Whitney Mongé has made music since she was young. Inspired by the buskers in the city, she decided to start performing around Pike Place Market. That’s where she learned and honed her craft, as well as getting her a ton of exposure.
She sings with a tone like driftwood at the beach on a cloudy day. A salty grit in the air while the waves crash against the shore of an acoustic guitar. You can feel the rawness of personal experience through her albums.

2018 was an incredible year for Whitney. She began the year by taking the stage at the legendary Showbox. In the fall, she toured the UK and sold out shows in Italy. After that, she released her solo acoustic EP, Carry On, playing a doubleheader at Jazz Alley to celebrate.
This project is an instant classic. Whitney Mongé sings with strength and confidence on each of these six songs. What she does with her acoustic guitar feels natural, it’s beautiful and totally badass. She’s a little rock and roll, a little bit country outlaw, and dripping with a whole lot of soul.
