Weedstock Will Place Cannabis Legalization In The Spotlight

The primary purpose of this event is to indeed raise awareness about marijuana legalization in Delaware. After a delay on the vote to legalize cannabis in June, many Delawarians are seeking progress. Weedstock seeks to start conversations about legalizing cannabis in this state. Many other cannabis organizations are part of this event as well.

NORML is a national organization of activists working to reform cannabis laws throughout the U.S. Additionally, this organization will be present at Weedstock, according to Laura Sharer, the executive director of Delaware’s NORML. In an interview with phillyvoice.com, she said “This is a place where cannabis advocates and supporters can safely join together for networking, fellowship, and fun.”
