Breaking Beats: Wax Motif’s “In My Hands” Featuring Camden Cox Out Now

Wax Motif is on FIRE right now! After having debuted his smash album, House of Wax, in 2022, this skilled producer is showing no signs of slowing down with his latest release, “In My Hands,” featuring dreamy, British vocalist, Camden Cox. This new single is also only just one of several projects he’s got going on.

Hailing from Los Angeles with a Chinese-Australian background, Wax has a unique as well as diverse sound and perspective that’s all his own. This particular approach really shows in this DJ’s productions. That mixed with his longtime experience producing for some fantastic giants such as Diplo, AC Slater and John Summit (to name a few) makes for a tone that is incredibly special. There’s something for everyone in Wax Motif’s discography as he mixes influential genres such as disco, UK bass, and R&B.

When Wax and Camden Cox first came together to make this collaboration, they met up with writers Emma Rosen and Sophie Cates at a writing camp session in EDC Las Vegas. Going in, all they knew is that they wanted Wax Motif’s dark edginess with Camden Cox’s softer vibes to make a contrast that would come together smoothly without a hitch. With this in mind, take notice of how Wax’s music has evolved in terms of flow and how much more melodic the pulse of his composition style has become.

Just days after having finished writing this tune for the first time, Wax Motif teased this new hit at his sets in the festival circle, and the response was a resounding success. He knew he had something dope in his hands, and after taking the time to really perfect and refine it, this synergy is ready to grace all your ears! But wait, that’s not all folks.

Remember what I said earlier about this dude showing no signs of stopping? I wasn’t kidding. Be sure to check out even more ventures in the very near future with the likes of  Repopulate Mars and Nervous Records. Not to mention tour dates are up for his album, House of Wax —which by the way is also the name of Wax Motif’s radio show. Like seriously…this man does not stop.

Being no stranger to sold out venues, I would snag tickets while you still can for this one. With how big of an impact on the EDM scene Wax Motif has got, there’s no doubt he’s going to have a chokehold on the genre. You don’t want to be the one that’s left out of his epic moves.

Born in Australia as Daniel Chen, this creator has made a whole new name for himself and big things are coming his way, so start paying attention. Don’t miss out on Wax Motif and Camden Cox’s, “In My Hands” and House of Wax by giving them a listen right this second and keep an eye on Respect My Region for more coverage on this fire producer!
