Washington’s Best Weed According to Jonathan Olsen-Koziol
Best Cannabis Farms
“There are so many farms doing great things in the cannabis industry right now, I’ve smoked dozens of farms’ products that impressed me. That being said, Lifted Cannabis is killing the game right now. I tried their products based off a random budtenders’ recommendation and I haven’t looked back since. Their 501st OG is one of the smoothest indica’s I’ve smoked. Lifted’s Lemon Meringue is Lemon Skunk bred with Cookies N Cream, and it’s a hazy masterpiece of a sativa hybrid. Their quality and consistency for $40 an eighth is damn hard to beat in this writer’s opinion.
A runner-up worth mentioning is GreenRush. Most of their strains are exclusive to their farm, like the Crown Royal OG, Big City Lights and Tangelina Jolie. The Crown Royal OG will slip and rip you like Floyd Mayweather.”
Best Weed Strains
“Northern Lights #5 is my shit. This is a crazy sedative high that has interesting creative and silly waves that hit me hard.
Dutch Haze is another strain that comes to mind, which is a powerful sativa that will send your brain to the moon and back.
Lifted’s 501st OG and Lemon Meringue, (which I mentioned above,) would also make the cut. I enjoy the extreme aspects of cannabis highs: The raciness and paranoid introspection from sativas or the body locked sedation from indicas. If we’re gonna smoke, why fuck around?”
Best Processors & Favorite Product
“Oleum, hands down, is my favorite processor in the game right now. Their strains are the most consistent batch to batch, and nothing else on the market looks or tastes like an Oleum concentrate. Their Grape Island Skunk, Sour Diesel and Green Crack honey crystal’s are the best dabs I’ve had to date. They just launched a collab with Lifted Cannabis. My two favorite brands are teaming up and I cannot wait to see what they come up with.
Shout out to Refine for their Chemmy Jones and Extreme OG Loud Resin. The citrus and lemon and citrus flavors coated my mouth and had brain buzzing highs with them.
For the bargain smokers (I didn’t forget about you,) look our for Mammoth Lab’s terp sugar out of Ellensburg, Washington, What their oil lacks in bag appeal, makes up for in taste and effect. The terpenes come through beautifully on each dab. Also look for Clandestine Gardens’ shatter. Beautiful amber slabs that always have a great flavor. Both these brands are under $30 a gram, and they’re hard to beat at the price point.”
Best Cannabis-Infused Food & Drink
“Anything I can mix with alcohol is going to be my favorite. I really like the effects when you pair alcohol and cannabis. Together, it takes much less of each to get a great cross faded-buzz. I like taking the Pearl 2O and freezing it for cocktails. There is zero cannabis flavor and you get a solid potency boost per drink.
I like the Devilz Oil as well. They are cinnamon flavored and go great with hard cider. These come in servings of 60 milligrams, and they pack a wallop. I like spending time in the murky waters, and mixing cannabis with a good cocktail will get you there with a quickness.
These recommendations come from a truly seasoned smoker, dabber, and general cannabis user. His suggestions may not necessarily be for everyone. As you begin to explore and test what we’ve recommended, we strongly encourage using caution and drinking extra water to stay hydrated.”
