Within that time, they have been at the top of music and seen other artists slide in as well. Especially for Chris Brown, he’s kept himself moving forward by constantly collaborating and putting out new work. This is something he’s done since the first day he started. With T-Pain, he’s been prolific by dropping new projects. The frequent collaborator’s latest single cannot be missed.
With “Wake Up Dead,” it primarily has R&B and Pop influences. One of the most notable things throughout is T-Pain’s vocals. Throughout the track, T-Pain does an excellent job blending his vocals to Chris Brown’s voice. At the same time, there isn’t as much autotune and overproduction with his voice. Because of this, it shows T-Pain’s raw voice which works well with the track. Singing over guitar riffs and bouncing snaps, the instrumental shows off both of their voices well.
