Virtual Self Releases New Technic-Angel Edit “Angel Voices”

Back in late 2017, Porter Robinson announced his techno-inspired alter ego, Virtual Self, which turned heads and sent chills through the spines of many electronic music enthusiasts. With the release of his self-titled EP, tracks like “Eon Break” and “Ghost Voices” gained the attention of many curious fans. While some preferred Porter Robinson’s “worlds” style of music, a wide range of Porter fans and other listeners tuned in to the music of Virtual Self with amazement and awe.

Only a few hours ago, Virtual Self released a Technic-Angel edit of his memorable “Ghost Voices,” titled “Angel Voices”. The edit brings new life into the original track and also beckons fans to reanalyze the music of Virtual Self and realize its possibly timeless value. Because of this, many fans have gained a strong impression that Virtual Self’s music will go on to be remembered as a powerful point of evolution in electronic music history. While it’s still too early to know if this is true, it’s certainly an entertaining thought for electronic music fans. “Angel Voices” carries with it a new concept of sound that is fast-paced, uplifting and transcendent. While “Ghost Voices” sounds somewhat ambient and dreamy, this new edit manages to slip into the virtual ether and bring its listeners into some unknown higher plane of reality.

Aside from Virtual Self’s music, his fanbase has also made a stir over the odd intricacies and hidden easter eggs inside his website and artwork. Ultimately, what is clear at this point is that Virtual Self is far more than a simple side project created by the famed artist. With his coming Virtual Self Utopia Tour, this mysterious alter ego is likely to be selling out shows in a city near you very soon.
