Trippie Redd’s career has exploded throughout 2018, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down by dropping his new song “Topanga.” The new release is at the forefront of his upcoming project titled A Love Letter to You 3, which is expected to drop before the year is out.
From start to finish, “Topanga” is mainly driven by the piano and sample heavy lines. The mid tempo instrumental supports the smooth flows that Redd demonstrates throughout.
Even though the song may seem upbeat, the visual that accompanies the song is very dark. Throughout the video, there are a set of rituals performed. The rituals include scenes with witchcraft and snakes, with multiple types of drugs being consumed as well.
