Trichome Extracts does not have a huge presence in the stores that are near me. The quality of their extracts and a variety of flavors always impresses me when I do find their products. Their Runtz strain sugar crystal is a strain of theirs that I have not had a chance to try. I knew I had to try the Runtz because their other Gelato crosses have always impressed me. Zkittlez and Gelato were crossed to create this hybrid strain.
My favorite thing about Trichome Extracts’ packaging is the labels on the jars. They provide a graphic to go along with the strain name. I keep my concentrates in the butter drawer in my fridge. They don’t always fit in the huge plastic packaging that some companies use. The label helps me remember which is which in my fridge. However, I’m not a fan of all the plastic.
This extract is almost the color of an orange Runtz candy with a sugary fruit aroma. Thick globs of sugar crystal clump together like wet sugar. The texture makes it easy to scoop with any kind of dab tool. I ended up taking a second dab because the flavor was so enjoyable, which turned out to be an excellent decision.
The high from the concentrate was very enjoyable. Without much of an attention span I meandered through downtown while I walked to the grocery store, focusing more on my podcast than the world around me. I found it very easy to get lost in what was coming through my headphones. I never encountered overwhelming munchies or cottonmouth. The spaciness made it hard to stay focused on anything, but that’s exactly what I needed after a long day of work.
