The arrival of summer in my mind creates vivid images of barbequing and bumping Reggae in the sun. Tribal Theory is coming to the Crocodile on May 25th. Their unique sound blends Reggae, Ska, Roots, Alternative, and R&B.
Originating out of San Diego in 2005, Tribal Theory has enjoyed a steady rise to reggae fame. They feature five members with strong Pacific Island roots. Playing alongside them will be Jessica Domingo and Two Story Zori.
They’ve played festivals in California and played alongside Steel Pulse, Collie Budz, and The Green. Their sound reminds me a bit of The Expendables. Any fan who enjoys The Expendables sound should definitely check out Tribal Theory. With the recent release of their new single, Part Time Lovers and an EP released last year they are building a catalog of work for a wide range of fans.
