Travis Thompson has had quite the year. Not just 2018, but you know…the last 365ish days or something. He’s killing it. Spotify streams are booming and YouTube subscribers are growing. We’re watching one of the next stars being born into the Seattle’s hip-hop galaxy right before our eyes. Young Travy harnesses the emotions associated with your dreams coming to fruition in his newest visual “Came True.”
With so many things to celebrate, from the sold-out Key Arena show with Macklemore to performing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and incredible reception from fans on his last few visuals. Thompson has many things to be giddy about but keeps a more serious tone with this record. This is one of the darker releases I’ve heard from Thompson. A lot of his recent joints have been more ‘fun’ and this one showcases his ability to talk some shit. Dylan Fout and Justin Frick did a great job keeping the video dark but still very much Travis Thompson. His project YOUGOOD? will be out on the 25th.
