Travis Scott has been talking about his Astroworld album for several years, and tonight he’s finally dropped the album for all his fans. After releasing his second full-length album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight in the summer of 2016, the project cemented his place in the top echelon of hip-hop.
While Travis has kept the news about his new album minimal, he reportedly finished up the project in Hawaii with heavy hitters including Mike Dean; who also helped produce the string of Kanye West projects released in June. Travis has also taken a step back from the number of features in 2018, which suggests that he was spending most of his energy on the new album.
For Travis Scott fans who have followed him since the beginning of his career, his last three projects have lead up to this point. With Astroworld in the palm of our hands, we can finally hear the material he took years to make impeccable.
