This last weekend Respect My Region came into ThinkSpace in South Lake Union to power a holistic house party. Trap Vinyasa’s “Body Party” is an uplifting experience that gives women, non-binary and female-identifying persons a safe-space to celebrate their bodies through movement while exploring feminine wellness holistically. What came next was a thoughtful panel discussion that got to the core of many taboo issues surrounding feminine wellness. This event got sensual, going beyond the physical issues to explore wellness in relation to sexual education, reproduction, body positivity, spirituality, menstruation, libido, self-sexuality, mental health and more. Respect My Region is proud to have been a part of this empowering event for women, and would also like to thank ZoZ, DVE Store, and Sprig CBD Soda for getting involved. We hope to further bring together positive forces in both cannabis and hip-hop to create safe-spaces where everyone can have fun and learn something new. Whether that be about cannabis, music, life, or themselves.
