If I had to choose Knife Party or Crystalize, I’d pick Crystalize all day. Of course, if you have the option, why not both?
I find it completely crazy to think that technology has gotten us to the point where music is so easy to come by. Not to mention, anyone with the means can just get a computer and a program, and eventually, teach themselves to make incredibly complex and variable music.
Shit. I still remember when I used to listen to music on a CD player or make “beats” on my keyboard when I was 10. Now I meet young kids with iPhones and a laptop with Ableton installed.
Anyway, this Crystalize remix of Rage Valley just dropped a few weeks ago. It’s got a good lead, progressing into of plenty of hype, mixed with rhythmic buildups throughout the song. If you want to compare the transformation of this song, you can check out the original track by Knife Party.

I had to search around for a while before I finally found another song to post. Not only do I like this one for its heavy melodic beat, polarizing back and forth lyrics, and passionate sound. I’m also somewhat of an obsessor over science fiction, which might have struck my bais when I saw the photo below.
Although the rap lyrics may not be extremely complex or insightful, the rest of the song makes up for it. Soothing Spanish guitar notes, mixed together with a catching lyrical chorus and beat make this song into something special.
