Crane City Music presents the first ever Town Love Hip-Hop Awards to be held at the Laser Dome on Monday, February 25th. Stas Thee Boss is to host the event, which will count down the top 20 albums of 2018 as voted by the community.
Any project released within Washington in 2018 with three or more songs was up for consideration. In January, Crane City opened up the polls for two weeks where you could vote for your favorite of 267 eligible projects.
With over 5,000 votes cast, the top 20 nominees have been chosen. The winner will receive $500, and the title of “Record of the Year 2018.”
This is hands down one of the most unique awards shows to take place. Songs from each nominated record will be played throughout the night with frickin’ laser beams to match.
A limited number of tickets are on sale now for $15. I highly recommend grabbing a ticket right now, rolling up something super loud, and spending the next few hours listening to all 20 nominated records.
