TiaCorine Delivers Exhilarating House of Blues Performance While in Dallas

Tuesday night XXL freshman alum TiaCorine made her 12th tour appearance in Dallas, Texas. The show took place at House of Blues Dallas in the Cambridge room. Fans in attendance got to experience an intimate setting with TiaCorine and friends.

Before she hit the stage, up and coming artist Aashaa 2k performed to liven the crowd. TiaCorine does a raffle before each cities show to find another opener. She uses names from her tour instagram post to see which artist will get the call. Aashaa 2k brought contagious energy in performance that filtered throughout the crowd during her set. Following her was DJ Saucy D.

Opening Acts

Dj Saucy D, Dj for Kaash Paige, had the crowd had on fire. Throughout his set he played Trippie Red, Sexyy Red, Lil Uzi, Flo Milli, and more. The crowd sang songs word for word, danced, and loosened any tension they came in the building with. Before TiaCorine came out to perform her tour special guest A.R. the Mermaid took the stage.

Songs like No Motion, What We Doing were apart of her set list. Her unique tone kept the crowd wanting to hear more from the Memphis native rapper. As she concluded , all attention shifted focus towards TiaCorine hitting the stage.

TiaCorine Takes the Stage

As soon as she came out you could see smiles light up across the room. She took fans on a trip down memory lane to begin the night playing a few tracks for supporters who listened even before her music blew up. Her stage design included two cherry blossoms and her cat like costume, reminded me of anime characters seen on television. The first half of her set included a water gun fight with the crowd which is something you’d never think you’d see at a concert. As she left stage for an outfit change her special guest of the night, S3nsi Molly, performed a few songs for the crowd.

When TiaCorine came back on stage, her costume change resembled a family feud host. This segment was called ‘The TiaCorine Show’. She invited 4 guests on the stage to compete in three games; a fruit rollup eating contest, blindfolded Kirby drawing, and pickup lines. Each contestant won a meet and greet from Tia at the conclusion of the night.

Curtain Call

The set list included songs like ‘Lotto’, ‘Rocket’, ‘Shamone’, and concluded with hit single ‘Freaky T’. Fans joined her on stage for the last few moments, dancing and laughing as the show came to a close. Leaving the show even I became a fan of the North Carolina native.

With only 3 stops left on her first tour, TiaCorine will focus her attention to upcoming festivals like Dreamville Fest in early April. If you’re in LA, San Francisco, or Seattle, the TiaCorine tour is must see. For more information on upcoming tours and festivals stay tapped in with respect my region.
