Chicago’s 1937 Group has announced the launch of their TerpKings Art and Graphic Design Contest, a competition aimed at providing opportunities for artists. The minority-owned cannabis company hopes to engage the local art community by offering them the chance to have their work featured on cannabis product packaging. Ambrose Jackson, CEO of 1937 Group, commented that “we are committed to creating opportunities for local artists, entrepreneurs, and those impacted by unjust marijuana laws. We’ve been fortunate to have been provided a national platform, and now want to extend that platform to others in our community.”
