Tekashi 6ix9ine Hospitalized After Being Pistol-Whipped And Kidnapped

Tekashi 6ix9ne, who is currently one of rap’s most controversial MCs, was kidnapped and pistol-whipped early Sunday morning. The rapper was reportedly heading home after shooting a music video in the early hours of Sunday morning and had his car blocked by three gunmen.

When they emerged, one of the gunmen knocked out 6ix9ne by hitting him in the head with his pistol. While unconscious, it’s reported that 6ix9ne was dragged to a separate car. When he woke up, the gunmen were threatening to kill him if he didn’t hand over money and jewelry.

While it’s unclear what the dialogue was between 6ix9ne and the gunmen, they eventually returned to his Brooklyn home, robbed his house and allegedly stole $750,00 of jewelry and $20,000 cash. His baby mama and his child, who were staying in the home, were unharmed.

While his house was being looted, sources say that he was able to escape the gunmen’s car and hop into a stranger’s vehicle at a nearby intersection. It’s unknown who the stranger is at this time, but the individual called 911 and 6ix9ne was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

At this point there is little information about his current state of health. The rapper is currently undergoing a variety of tests that include a CT scan, according to TMZ.

It’s easy to say that Tekashi 6ix9ne has more enemies than friends in the rap game. Over the next few days, it’s expected that additional details will emerge with the specifics of 6ix9ne’s health, and more information about the gunmen. What we do know at this time is that the kidnapping was carefully planned, as they knew his exact whereabouts. While this situation could have been a gang-related, it’s also a possibility that it was a setup by another rapper or label.
