Suwannee Hulaween, a boutique Halloween-themed festival, returns to Live Oak, Florida this October with its renowned multi-genre affair. Taking place October 27-30th, the four-day camping festival presents a lineup of small and large artists alike across an eclectic blend of genres. The dynamic roster consists of electronic, jam, indie, bluegrass, funk, soul, pop, and hip-hop. This blend of genres brings a crowd unlike many other festivals.
Suwannee Hulaween 2022
Going into its 9th edition, Suwannee Hulaween has gone from a small locals’ festival to a nationally anticipated affair. This year’s lineup reflects the reputation they have built since 2013, featuring many of the current greatest names in live music.
As always, renowned jam band, The String Cheese Incident, will bring three groove-packed performances to the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. Other bands performing at Hulaween include alternative rock/indie band Rainbow Kitten Surprise, psychedelic band STS9, esteemed jam-band The Disco Biscuits, Boston-based funk band Lettuce, groovy quartet The Fearless Flyers, and Grammy nominee soul band Black Pumas.
The rock-heavy festival always brings a wide spectrum of subgenres to Live Oak, Florida. In addition to the many bands, Hulaween features award-winning Portland artist Portugal. The Man, electric guitar-focused Two Feet, Manic Focus live, and Chicago-based Neil Frances.
Suwannee Hulaween’s electronic lineup is just as exciting as its lineup of live bands. World-renowned DJs taking the stage at Hulaween include Louis The Child, Fisher, Clozee, LP Giobbi with a Femme House takeover, and Jauz with an ‘off the deep end’ set. Further, Liquid Stranger is bringing his famous Wakaan Takeover to the beloved festival. While Gigantic Nightmare, a collaboration between Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE, is performing a rare set together.
The lineup is also nothing short of emerging names. Budding artists you can catch at Hula include A Hundred Drums, Eazybaked, Maddy O’Neal, Tripp St, Mindchatter, Cannabliss, Of the Trees, Paper Idols, and many, many more. Finally, the festival will also feature pop artists such as Sylvan Esso and Lewis Del Mar, as well as hip-hop artists like J.I.D.

Although Suwannee Hulaween has grown tremendously in popularity in recent years, it’s still an intimate setting with around 20,000 attendees. Thus, the event is known to sell out quickly.
