Treehawk Farms produces excellent cannabis on a dairy farm located on the Olympic Penninsula. Their Sunset Fire strain is a 50/50 hybrid. Treehawk Farms cultivates top-shelf cannabis strains utilizing sustainable agricultural techniques to minimize the impact on the environment around them. “Handcrafted small batch artisanal cannabis” is the quote on the back of the packaging. Their products live up to the motto.
Sunset Fire is a cross between Sunset Sherbert and Khyber Mazar Afghan. These nugs are extra frosty. They appear to be dipped in powdered sugar before being packaged. There is a distinct contrast between the color of the weed and the trichomes that coat it.
While breaking apart a nug to load into my pipe, bits and pieces of the weed clung to my fingers. The aroma lingered on them for a few minutes after. There was a strong floral taste to the weed. The balance of this hybrid was beneficial. Overall the high was mellow enough that I did not melt into the couch, and I was able to relax after an interesting Monday.
