I purchased Green Crack from Legends at The Evergreen Market after randomly purchasing a ticket to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi while at work Friday afternoon. I was hoping that the Sativa dominant strain would keep me focused on the movie instead of melting into the chairs. The movie was phenomenal, so the boost from the weed wasn’t necessary. This strain was perfect for making sure I made it to the movie theatre.
Legends packages their products in nitrogen sealed packaging to help keep their product fresh. Every single product I’ve purchased from them has been sold this way. Their cannabis has usually been some of the freshest and buds have typicaly also been dark green with orange hairs growing tightly inbetween them. A smell that was very similar to mango was released when I opened the packaging. It become more potent when I cracked open the buds, all of which were not sticky, but they did not crumble in my hand either.
I smoked a huge bowl right before leaving my apartment for the movie theatre. All I could taste on my first exhale was that mango flavor. Each hit was smooth and my mood immediately elevated. I became more alert and focused, but also had some of the worst munchies I have had in awhile. Cottonmouth also became a problem that had to be dealt with.
That high managed to get me through the entire movie, although that could have been fueled by some nerdy excitement. There are probably more exotic or expensive strains that would also be good for smoking before Star Wars, but if you are smoking on a budget, Green Crack from Legends is perfect.
