Mantis Extracts is well versed in the ins and outs of cannabis extraction. They’re the first company that taught me about solvent transfer and the importance of producing volatile cannabis oils in solvent-free equipment like stainless steel. They’ve continued refining their process and added in-house flower production to further control their process. Their in-house grown and extracted Sour Dub Alien Dawg is the finest concentrate I’ve tried from Mantis to date.
Mantis wraps their oil in a beautiful clamshell packaging. The black and gold logo pairs nicely with their color-way strain graphics. The gold oil shines through the jar making it hard to pass up.
This terp sauce doesn’t have much of an aroma. A slight spicy citrus aroma is present, but there’s nothing to write home about. However, the taste was out of this world. Every dab was like dipping my tongue in a bowl of diesel fuel and gas terpenes. The flavors were smooth and coated my pallet.
A calming focused high quickly followed the gas flavors. I enjoyed taking these dabs before performing tasks like cooking and writing. This strain is highly recommendable and a must try for day time smokers and gas terpene lovers.
