Souf Souf just released their first album, titled Vibes Out Souf, after Jay Park signed them to his H1GHR Music record label. The duo of G-Baby and Shotta Pistol has been grinding this past year and is very much so apart of the Freshest in the Northwest crew of rising artists coming out of our region, even if they weren’t named on our list. They’ve definitely made major moves within the industry and deserve to be recognized as one of the hottest duos of the year.

Their growth over the past year is the definition of hard work and dedication. Coming out of 2019, Souf Souf had a successful EP release with their self-titled debut. Their momentum keeps growing throughout this year as they continue to release super clean music videos garnering thousands of views apiece.
This summer they really skyrocketed when 28AV, a.k.a. Avatar Darko, featured Souf Souf alongside Lil Mosey on his track, “Banana.” The music video hit almost a million views in just two months. Honestly, I haven’t seen a bad video from Souf Souf; everything that they do visually has been top tier quality.
Sonically, I feel like these guys have a solid base foundation that will develop and refine in the coming years. Although I’m not a fan of heavy autotune over everything, I can’t deny that Souf Souf is the essence of modern hip-hop with a unique flair for melodic flows.
The production credits on Vibes Out Souf are crazy with Bryce Strom, P. White, and Nima Skeemz producing my favorite beats on the album. Pair that sound with their true-to-self personalities and it’s no doubt that they will rise to the top and help take the Soufend worldwide.
