Songwriters in Paradise unveils the much-anticipated roster of artists and vineyards for the 5th annual SIP NAPA, from April 18th-21st. If it wasn’t already obvious, this occasion is set in the charming locale of Napa, California.
SIP NAPA finds roots in the musical affinity between SIP’s Patrick Davis and David Duncan, proprietor of Silver Oak Cellars. Bonding over their mutual passion for music and wine, the duo’s friendship flourished through impromptu jam and songwriting sessions traversing from Nashville to Napa. Reflecting on the inception of SIP NAPA, Patrick Davis articulated, “Bringing Songwriters In Paradise to Wine Country was truly an extension of a longstanding friendship woven with wine and music.”

Conceived in 2013 by the accomplished Nashville singer-songwriter Patrick Davis, SIP emerged as a gathering of gifted songwriters on Hope Town, a serene Bahamian island. Since its inception, SIP has evolved into an annual series of sold-out music and lifestyle galas in Napa, Cabo, and Healdsburg, showcasing some of the industry’s most illustrious names. Each destination promises an intimate acoustic experience akin to the renowned Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, where songwriters unveil the narratives behind their compositions.
Patrick Davis, co-founder of SIP, accentuated the event’s distinctive intimacy, noting, “You’re hearing the songwriter unveil the genesis of their creation. That essence defines SIP. It’s a dimension that often eludes larger concert settings.”
Furthermore, Songwriters In Paradise remains steadfast in its commitment to enriching the communities that host its events. Over the years, SIP’s raised and contributed over $1 million through auctions of autographed guitars and handwritten lyrics. In doing so, these efforts have benefitted various local initiatives. Noteworthy is SIP NAPA’s fundraising efforts, amassing over $100k in both 2022 and 2023, channeling support towards diverse charitable endeavors.
