Seattle young’ins Shelton Harris and Tyler Dopps bring us their first official video, Wake Up. Shelton Harris interned for Macklemore a while back and while that initially helped him gain fans, he has had no problem obtaining them on his own since the Fresh Start EP dropped. Credit must also be giving to Dopps for providing consistent bangers to back drop Shelton’s life story. The duo has really elevated their sound and established themselves as one of the most exciting things to come from the town. Personally I’m not fully convinced that the two have came out of the shadow of influence of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis but I fully believe in the talent at hand and am confident once they find their niche the growth will be exponential.
