GRiZ is from Detroit, Michigan and is making a long-awaited return to Salmo River Ranch for the 22nd annual festival. The 2019 event takes place from August 9-12 in eastern British Columbia and GRiZ is scheduled to perform in the Fractal Forest.

His performance is set for just four months after he drops his highly anticipated album, Ride Waves, which is scheduled to be released on April 5th. The album features artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, DRAM, and Bootsy Collins. Four singles have already been released off the album.
