Final Preparations Before Heading To Shambhala Music Festival In British Columbia

The 23rd annual Shambhala Music Festival hits Salmo, British Columbia in Canada July 22nd-25th. Some people say this is the top-rated music festival in the world, and for good reason. Lasers, multiple stages, and some of the biggest names in EDM and more await you on the farm in BC.

This year’s festival has nine stages with over 100 artists performing (with even more to be announced.) On their site, their transportation services page offers fans access to safe traveling to and from music. So check that out if you’re giving it a go. Shambhala is an alcohol-free festival but always make sure to have a designated driver if plans change.

Camping is a big thing here too. Plan your camping journey here. So, pack well with lots of water and supplies. If you run out of food-no worries-there will be plenty of food vendors here too you can purchase from throughout the festival.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for drugs due to licensing policies for music venues in Canada. Yet, Shambhala cares about your safety. Check out The Loop tent during the festival for neutral-safe drug testing to make sure that you are aware of the effects, harms, and consequences of your substances.
