For more than two decades, Shambhala Music Festival has hosted one of the world’s most respected music festivals. Tucked away in the beautiful British Columbia mountain country, festival-goers are blessed with 6 unique stages and each one has its own director that curates the area’s vibe and style of music.
This year, Shambhala Music Festival takes place on July 24 – 27 in Salmo, B.C. Hosted on a family-owned and operated farm, Shambhala is that one festival people always talk about as a true bucket-list concert experience.
Infusing nature with such a breathtaking digital experience is no easy task, especially with hundreds of world-class artists spread out across so many stages. Shambhala originally started off back in 1998 as a gathering of 500 or so people. The event has since grown astronomically, primarily by word of mouth and social media, and is now considered one of the premier music festivals in the entire world.
Featuring many of the world’s most popular or up and coming talents, this year Shambhala’s lineups once again set the standard for what a rave-centric festival could really be. This year’s lineup features the likes of Black Tiger Sex Machine, DJ Premier, Malaa, Masego, Zhu, Rezz, RL Grime, NGHTMRE, Slander, Seven Lions, Marc Rebillet and many many more incredible performers.
Shambhala’s team also put together an official playlist featuring music from the performers. Make sure you follow them on Spotify as well as their other social media profiles to stay tuned in! For more information, read our recap from the 2019 event here.
