I firmly believe that Scarlet Parke is a reincarnated 1940’s jazz songstress. Her sultry voice is unique and full of personality like those of the greats; Billie, Ella, Nina, and Sarah Vaughn. In her new single, Parke teamed up with Jake Crocker to give an electronic boost to her bluesy-pop song “Moonlight.”
Scarlet Parke – Moonlight (prod. Jake Crocker)
Scarlet has a knack for songwriting. Her lyrics are catchy, interesting, and sung with passion. Then you lay that over the top of a Crocker produced beat and you instantly have something special. Jake took the keys and brass out of the 40’s, electrified them and added some percussion that matches the confidence of her voice.
