The EP opens with “Tour Music,” a track about the controlled chaos of performing shows and spending days on the road with your hooligan friends. Followed by my favorite track on the EP, “Whippin Rentals,” is a banging track with a SMOOTH hook courtesy of Magik and a mean verse by Florida rapper Eric Biddines. A track about cruising through cities all across in America in different whips, but bringing those familiar Seattle vibes everywhere they go.
Every song has a completely different feel and subject matter revolving around making music while on tour. Lachow has always been at his best when he’s making simple and fun songs with his friends, and that contagious fun is ever present in Motels & Minivans.
