The Runtz Strain Review Featuring El Blunto From Downtown Los Angeles And Glass House Farms From Santa Barbara

The West Coast Weed Tour has been filled with reviews of all kinds of products including flower, joints, extracts, edibles, and topicals. These interesting products have been great, but to stay true to the spirit of cannabis, we have to pay our respect to one of the classic methods of smoking: blunts. The El Blunto Runtz pre-rolled cigar by Glass House Farms and El Blunto is one product that retains the classic and luxurious feeling of smoking cannabis.

Runtz was recently awared Leafly’s strain of the year and is a cross between Zkittlez and Gelato. The dominant terpene in the two parent strains is caryophyllene, which gives the bud a gassy taste and smell.

In this official Review,  Respect My Region’s @JoeyJayPing and cannabis photographer Max Jackson try out the highly requested Runtz pre-rolled blunt.

Cali’s Premium Blunt Producer

El Blunto has claimed the title of top blunt producer in the state of California. The brand puts its focus on providing “The world’s finest cannabis experience”. Known for creating products that offer a classic and luxurious smoking experience through traditional hand rolling techniques, a master cigar-roller handcrafts each of their blunts.

The brand’s El Blunto Runtz, is one item among several product lines created in collaboration with Glass House Farms. The prominent California cultivator of premium greenhouse-grown flower harvests the Runtz inside the cigar.

The Review

The Runtz pre-roll comes packaged in a glass jar with luxurious gold and black embellishments. The El Blunto looks like a fine cigar, rather than just your ordinary blunt. The Runtz strain also has some full-on nugs, meaning the cannabis inside is chunky rather than finely ground.

Initially, opening the jar brings the smell of sweet pine and gas from the blunt. The flavors in Joey’s first hit bring to mind strains like Gelato and sweet, piney OG kush. Additionally, Max’s first hit reinforces the smell along with some sweet flavors that shine through. The taste is enough to outshine the taste of the tobacco-free wrap

The high from the Runtz is potent, leaving Joey feeling relaxed and Max at a loss for words. This is one of those products that you could smoke daily. However, at its price point, this luxury product may be better suited for perfect for special occasions and gifts. Either way, Joey and Max both enjoyed the classic experience of smoking the El Blunto.

The overall experience of both the Runtz strain and the El Blunto led Joey and Max to give this product a high score of 9.5 out of 10.
