On May 24th Rory Fresco released his new album Fantasy Camp. It is the up-and-coming rapper’s seventh album. It is full of clever lyrics, catchy hooks and tight production.
Who is Roy Fresco?
Rory Fresco is a 25-year-old rapper from Kansas City. He crashed onto the scene in 2016 with the song “Lowkey,” which featured G Eazy. The song went viral on SoundCloud because it was cued after a Kanye West song. This gave the song the exposure it deserved. By mid 2017, the song had over five million plays. He was then signed to SPL Records. He has released six albums since 2018.
About the Album, Fantasy Camp
Fantasy Camp by Rory Fresco is a sixteen-track album with features from Skilla Baby, Ezri and Doe Boy. He has release three tracks prior to the album coming out, “France,” “Knocked Up,” and “Lens.” Music videos have been released for all of these songs. On the 24 Fresco announced that the next music video will be for the song “Stiffly,” which features Doe Boy. There is an album release party for Fantasy Camp taking place in Kansas City on Saturday the 27.
Fresco has been promoting his new album heavily on Twitter and Instagram. He clearly wants to continue to improve his career and gain more followers for his music. This is a theme across his new record. In the song “Knocked Up,” he says “I ain’t rich yet but I’m gearing up. I’m in the club tell the DJ to turn me up, woah.” Rory Fresco is not slowing down anytime soon. He is definitely an artist to look out for.
