The sun-drenched beaches of Southern Florida set the perfect stage for Rolling Loud Miami 2024, the world’s premier hip-hop festival. This year’s event brought together top-tier talent, electrifying performances, and unforgettable fan experiences over two epic days.
Sponsored by numerous companies ranging from Febreeze to ZigZag, our host for the weekend was Wizard Trees, a luxury California-based cannabis brand. Rolling Loud Miami, alongside Wizard Trees and the other sponsors, all delivered a vibe unmatched by any other festival.
From star-studded sets to the buzzing energy at the various brand and exhibitor booths, here’s our complete recap of this unforgettable weekend.
Day 1 Rolling Loud Miami Highlights: Bossman Dlow, Trippie Redd, Future, and More
Day 1 kicked off with a bang, featuring performances from some of the biggest names in hip-hop. One of the early highlights was Bossman Dlow’s set. While the performance itself didn’t include any unexpected surprises, the crowd’s energy was undeniable. The atmosphere reached a fever pitch as Dlow performed his biggest hits, proving that his fan base is as dedicated as ever.
Rick Ross and Lil Yachty took the stage next, each delivering high-energy performances that had the crowd moving. Rick Ross showcased his iconic flow and Miami pride, while Lil Yachty’s infectious charisma and vibrant stage presence got the audience jumping.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the day came from Trippie Redd, whose set was nothing short of electric. Trippie’s emotional delivery and high-energy tracks brought the crowd to life, with fans singing every word back to him.
Another standout experience was catching Lil Tecca’s performance while riding the Ferris wheel. The combination of Tecca’s melodic tracks and the stunning skyline created an unforgettable moment that perfectly encapsulated the festival’s vibe.
Future closed out the evening with a show-stopping performance, proving why he’s one of the most iconic artists in the game today. The energy in the crowd was electric, making his set one of the standout moments of the festival.
Beyond the performances, one of the highlights of Day 1 was visiting the Wizard Trees booth. The luxury cannabis brand went all out, offering exclusive gift bags and custom Rolling Loud shirts. Fans flocked to the booth, not only to pick up premium products but also to catch a vibe with the team. Wizard Trees brought a unique energy to the festival, blending cannabis culture with hip-hop seamlessly.
Day 2 Highlights: Sexyy Red, NLE Choppa, and a Surprise from Alchemist
Day 2 kept the momentum going with even more electrifying performances. Sexyy Red set the tone early with one of the most energetic performances of the weekend. Her charisma and stage presence commanded the crowd, proving why she’s one of the fastest-rising stars in hip-hop.
Ski Mask the Slump God delivered a high-energy set that showcased his unique style and dynamic flows. Meanwhile, Kodak Black was beyond lit, and NLE Choppa kept the crowd hyped with his signature “Slut Me Out” dance moves and infectious energy.
One of the day’s most talked-about moments came during YG Marley’s performance, when his mother, the legendary Lauryn Hill, joined him on stage to rap. This surprise appearance was a testament to the multi-generational impact of hip-hop, leaving fans in awe.
While the day was packed with incredible performances, the weather took a turn for the worse during the evening, making Travis Scott’s much-anticipated set challenging to enjoy. Travis Scott did have one of the most epic entrances of all time, featuring a group of helicopters with one flying Scott into a private area with a tank that drove him to the festival. He followed that entrance up with a few songs being performed in the rain and then when it came time for his hit song, FIEND, one of the most famous actors in the world, Owen Wilson, was brought up on stage from the crowd to help kick things off.
After seeing more than 10 of my favorite artists and fully exhausted from the first two days, the weather continued to turn south and dampen the festival grounds. We decided to skip the third day of the festival and enjoyed our joints from the Wizard Trees fam.
