Rebel ACA & French Monkey Wrench Release New Track “John Wayne”

You’re either going to love this song, or you’re not. It’s a little repetitive and, to me, sort of dull. Then again, artists like “Blur” have done quite well with a similar style of music. However, if you stop and pay attention to the lyrics, at the very least this song has a strong message to convey about the modern world. The message that Rebel ACA & French Monkey Wrench are trying to convey here is this: “What would John Wayne think of the lifestyle of our current generation?”

Full of witty remarks and annoyingly accurate social observations we all can relate too, “John Wayne” paints a vivid and relatable picture with this eclectic song and music video.

Life feels so fast these days with the influx and exponential growth of technology, and a different modern-day social issue making headlines every day, it’s hard not to ignore a song that throws it in your face.

“Are you sure there’s nothing wrong, when you’re standing all alone with your phone? John Wayne.”
