Previously I have smoked other strains from Seattle’s Private Reserve and always been extremely happy with them. Despite their higher price point, they deliver a consistently high-quality product that has yet to disappoint me.
Blackberry Kush has always been a mythical strain that avoids me where ever I go. Without looking for it, I still manage to find it. This strain is an Indica dominant hybrid known for a combination of Afgani and Blackberry genetics. If you’re looking for the perfect way to relax after a long day of holiday stress, then this strain is perfect for you.
Grams from Seattle’s Private Reserve come in black boxes containing small plastic jars. Larger quantities come in very nice glass jars that could easily be reused. Opening the jar released a potent aroma that smelled like sweet berries. Frosty white nugs had scattered trichomes all over the sides of the jar. A light green covers the nugs with deep orange hairs poking out from all over. The nugs all felt fresh and did not fall apart in my hands as I inspected them.
The berry smell carried over into the flavor. Through my Grape Swisher, all I could taste was berry. The perfect combination may have been found with a Blueberry Swisher instead. I felt extremely relaxed throughout the duration of the high. Eventually, I found myself locked to the couch unable to move, but also extremely hungry. I will be smoking Blackberry Kush again this holiday season when I find myself needing to relax.
