Following January’s initial event, the RAD Expo came back to the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR. On October 10th, we hit Portland for the RAD Expo Fall 2018 convention.
While we hosted a booth last year, this year the Respect My Region team came to the convention purely as press. The expo fell on our West Coast Weed Tour trip t0 California. After picking up our rental car and a three-hour drive from Seattle, our team hit the convention floor running. In only a year’s time, the conference has grown considerably!
Not only has the expo grown in size, but the level of impressive booths and branding in the legal cannabis sector has noticeably grown alongside it. The Marijuana Venture team has truly elevated a new angle of the industry. There are conferences for the producers and processors, parties for budtenders, and networking events for movers and shakers…but the retail aspect has yet to receive attention. Much like Hall Of Flowers in California, RAD has set themselves apart with business targeted events that more-so resemble non-cannabis industry retail conventions.
